System Requirements Check
Your System Test Results
*Note: As of January 2020, Microsoft only officially supports Windows 10. This means if you remain on Windows 7 after this date, critical security vulnerabilities in your operating system could exist. It is highly recommended that you consider upgrading to Windows 10. Although DoProcess will not prohibit Windows 7 customers from accessing Unity after this date, we will only officially support Unity on Windows 10 starting January 2020.

Unity and Your Internet Speed
For the best possible Unity experience, we recommend a fast Internet connection. This means a fast download speed (the speed at which data is being delivered to you from the Internet) and a fast upload speed (the speed at which data is traveling from you to the Internet).
The good news is that Unity’s requirements aren’t particularly stringent (4 mbps download / 1 mbps upload).
Please note: System performance isn’t just about internet speed. It’s important to understand the other factors that influence performance. These include:
- Your computer. Is it new and fast, or an older computer struggling to keep up? A modern computer and browser will give you the best experience.
- Your modem. This is the device that is hooked up to your computer which converts data into a form your computer can use. Is your modem capable of handling today’s higher speeds? Older ones may not be up to the task.
- Your wireless (Wi-Fi) router. Is it a modern device? The distance between that router and your computer also affects Internet speeds.
- Number of devices being used. Are you alone using a single device? Or are others in your office using the Internet on a computer, tablet, or smartphone at the same time. If so, you may need to upgrade to handle all that traffic.
